Your favorite images deserve a spot of honor on the walls of your home! Below, I share my three favorite ways to display photos.
It happens all the time. A family gets beautiful professional photos taken. They send holiday cards and the rest of the images live on a hard drive. But, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Photos can grace the walls of your home. They can sit on your desk reminding you of your bigger why when office life gets rough. Great photos make great wall art that can bring a smile for years to come.
Rarely do the kids come home from college and enjoy flipping through images on your computer. However, some photos over the mantel, in the bedroom hallway or at the entrance can immediately bring back a flood of fond memories and a feeling of home.
What Types of Wall Art do You Sell?
I offer three photo display options: metal, canvas and traditional framed prints. Each is special in its own way though metal prints are my current favorite.
Metal Prints?! Why are they your favorite way to display photos?
Not only are the colors magically luminescent, they are so durable that there is no need to frame them. That also means no glass to create glare or collect dust! With no frame, you never have to worry that your frame choice of today won’t coordinate with the look of your home in a few years.
Tell me about Canvas Prints!
Textured canvas prints have a feel and look that reminds me of a painting. The canvas adds a vintage feel that can be perfect way to display your photos. These are stunning and durable. All my canvas prints are archival quality.
Do you offer classic framed prints?
Yes, of course! There is a good reason these are classic way to display photos. I offer a variety of frame and mat options. In my on-line store you can try different frames and mats on your photos. It’s fun to see how a different color wood such as black versus a rustic barnwood can give a photo a different feel. This is also a great way to decide what will look best in your home.
I love the traditional feel of this presentation. Sometimes a frame and mat really makes an image pop. However, in my experience, these have the most glare and can be hard to enjoy at certain angles.
Not Sure Which is Right for You?
Let’s talk! I’m happy to brainstorm with you before or after your session. There is no one right answer — well except to let images of those you love most have a treasured spot in your home 🙂 I’m happy to capture those images and help plan a way to beautifully display wall art in your home.
