Outdoor family photography in the Burlington Vermont area is extra special in the spring! After a long winter, the Vermont landscape is starting to come to life again. This Burlington family decided on Mills Riverside Park in Jericho for their spring family photo session.
Mills Riverside Park in Jericho is beautiful, especially in the evening.
Mills is one of my favorite Burlington-area parks with or without my camera. I love the views, the trails, the dog friendly spaces and the evening light at any time of year. Only 30 minutes from Burlington, Vermont, Mills Riverside Park is a great choice for outdoor family photography or dog photography sessions. As one client put it, “No matter how full the parking lot is, we always feel like we’ve got plenty of space.” I’ve had that experience too!
The light was especially delightful on the early spring evening I got to capture these folks who had just celebrated their Little One’s first birthday.
My work is inspired by the Vermont landscape and the connections families share here. After a long Vermont winter, spring is a great time to create photos the reflect the new stories and connections in your family as we move into a new season.
My Family Photography will captures the stories and connections of this season for your family.
Just like each of Vermont’s season brings unique beauty to the landscape, each season also brings unique stories and connections for families. These are the moments that I love to photograph. I always aim to capture memories and moments that can be cherished for a lifetime. I also believe that your story matters and want to help you document family history and relationships.
I capture a variety of authentic natural moments at all my family photo sessions. As a mother of four with almost two decades of experience in the classroom, I know to arrive over-planned and ready to be flexible. I’ll capture the most important images first and I always leave time in my schedule for kids to be kids (and puppies to be puppies — I also love to include dogs in my photography). You won’t feel rushed or pressured — just gently encouraged to enjoy the beautiful family you’ve worked so hard to build, in pretty light, of course.
I generally book at least six weeks in advance so reach out today if you are thinking of a scheduling a family, dog, or senior photo session in the coming months. I’d love to start planning a session to document all that is special in this season of your life!
